Will it affect my addons for FS like aircraft, panels, liveries, airports, sounds? I have plenty of them installed from different providers and I don't want them to stop working. Please advise! However, for the patch to install it requires a clean FS9 installation - that means certain files must not have been changed.

Some add-ons can change these files in which case the patch won't install and the only option is to re-install FS9. I'm not sure anyone here knows which FS9 files have to be original or which add-ons modify them.

I've done quite a few changes and replacement in files so it's hardly possible that the important ones are untouched Maybe the wizard itself gives a clue about which files can't be updated because they aren't the original ones and prevent the patch from installing? I downloaded the Fs No-cd patch It worked fine until I tried to load aircraft on it and some scenery was missing also some planes were missing.
